Bali Sand Designs by Sandra
Every piece begins with a vision and ends with something that has never existed before.
Sandra is the sole creator behind Bali Sand Designs — a one-woman atelier dedicated to transforming denim and fabric into wearable art. Each piece is entirely handcrafted: hand-painted, hand-embellished, and finished with the kind of care that only comes from making something yourself, start to finish.
No two pieces are alike. Once a design is complete, it's retired — because the whole point is that you're wearing something that exists only for you.
In the Studio
The work happens at the machine, at the table, and in the quiet hours.
Sandra works from her home studio, surrounded by fabric, thread, paint, and the tools of a craft she has spent years perfecting. Every commission starts with a conversation and ends with something made entirely by hand — stitched, painted, and finished one detail at a time.
Beyond denim, Sandra also creates memory pieces — keepsakes handcrafted from a loved one's clothing, turned into something you can hold onto forever.

The Detail Work
Every line is drawn by hand. Every flower placed with intention.
Sandra uses paint pens, acrylic paint, and fine brushes to bring each design to life directly on the fabric. The process is slow, deliberate, and entirely freehand — no stencils, no transfers, no shortcuts.
What you see here is the floral face design taking shape — one of the most intricate pieces in the collection, built stroke by stroke at the studio table.
